Baby E is Two Months Old

Where has time gone?  I swear, I feel like I was just sitting with her in the NICU, dressing her in preemie clothes that were still way too big.  Now, my 2 month old baby girl is a good 9 pounds and no longer fits into her newborn clothes.  That's right, I had already packed up the preemie clothes and just this week, the newborns are gone.  Our drawers are looking empty, well to me anyways.  My husband thinks we have enough clothes to last her for several months, hate to break it to him, but we don't :)

Baby E is growing like a weed and she is actually beginning to be "fun."  Don't let people fool you, the first two months are not fun and I often found myself thinking, "what on Earth have I gotten myself into?"  But, with each day, we learn something new about our little girl.  I can already tell she is going to have a tender spirit and quite possibly a little spunk.

Anyways, here is what baby E is currently doing:

-Sleeping at least one 5-6 hour stretch at night , the rest are all 3 hours...we can't complain
-She loves napping on her mommy, she falls asleep almost instantly when cuddled on my chest
-Eating like a champ, she averages between 3 and 4 ounces during most feedings
-Her spitting has gotten much better, she had bad spits in the NICU and they continued at home but as she grows, they become less and less
-Wide awake, she is much more alert during the day and will often times stay awake for an hour or more after she eats
-Moving her head quite bit and holding it up for short periods of time, we think she looks like a turtle :)
-She now makes pretty good eye contact and is starting to follow us with her eyes, which are beautiful might I add <3
-She LOVES baths, pretty sure if the water never turned cold, she could lay there all day!  I have never seen anyone become so relaxed, bath time is one of my favorite times of day!  We let her soak in warm water at night before bed and I can already tell that this time spent together will be special

So, this is my two month old in a nutshell!  Can't wait to see what she is doing next month and see how much she changes!
